We recently had the pleasure of creating a custom portfolio book for Illustrator and Designer Anthony Foronda who has graced the pages of The Washington Post, Red Herring Financial Magazine, St. Petersburg Times, and National Public Radio.
He has been recognized in The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles Illustration 43, 45, and 48 as well as a Third Place Award in the 2005 Alternative Pick Awards . Last year he had 5 works selected in the Lurzer’s Archive of Illustration’s 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide. He has taught at Ringling School of Art and is in the Art Institute’s online curriculum for multimedia graphics.
Anthony wanted a custom engraved portfolio book which incorporated his branding, a bit of color, and a lot of wow-factor. He chose our caramel bamboo material with both front and back cover engravings.
The Solution: Klo Portfolios created a custom 8.5 x 11 caramel bamboo portfolio book with engraving and vinyl decal treatments. The subtle amount of red vinyl and his custom logo engraving on the cover perfectly compliments the over-sized back engraving which is eye catching and unexpected.
All of Klo Portfolios custom presentation books like Anthony’s, are cut-to order, treated, and hand assembled in our Vancouver studio. Each piece passes through multiple hands before its final destination. If you have a unique custom portfolio book idea, chances are we can bring it to life.
You can see a few examples of Anthony’s work below. Visit his website for his complete portfolio.
