our checklist

Lines
Lines need to be 0.75pt or thicker.

Cut-Outs
The center of closed shapes will fall away. Insert breaks in these shapes to achieve a cut-out.

Images
Submit files or images that are 300dpi for UV Print and Engraved Pattern fill designs for best results.

CMYK
Keep artwork for UV Prints and Engraved Pattern Fills in CMYK for best results.

Text
Turn your text to outlines to ensure it’s not replaced with another font after submission.

Vector Files
We accept vector .ai or .eps design files.
design types
We’re going to cover how to properly set up your design files for the various treatments we offer. If your design includes more than 1 treatment, use the legend to illustrate what you’d like completed for each part.
You can use black to show what you’d like engraved on your design file. The laser engraver will etch any portion of your design that is outlined or filled in black.
For example, if you draw a flower with a black outline, the laser will only engrave the outline. If you fill your flower with black, the laser engraver will engrave everything that is black.
If you’d like your design to be engraved and treated with a color fill, you can show this by outlining your design in black and filling it with the desired color.
If you’d like a black color fill, you can still outline your design in black and add a black fill too.
Use a red outline for the areas you’d like cut-out. Please note that the center of closed shaped letters such as a,b,d,o,p, and q will fall away once cut. This is also true for closed shaped designs.
If you have a closed shaped design and prefer a cut-out, you can add small breaks to your design so that it’s not a closed shape as shown in the example below.
Use a blue outline for the areas of your design you’d like UV Printed. Double check that your document color mode is set to CMYK for UV Prints to ensure the closest color match.
If your design includes more than one treatment (for example your name as an engraving and your logo cut out) use the legend to illustrate what you’d like completed for each part.
